Beyond Motorcycles
A Philosopher's Perspective of Reflection and Resolution
The close of a year and the start of a new one always inspire reflection and future planning. This can be seen in all forms of media and in daily conversations with colleagues and friends. With the constant inundation of aspiring motivational speakers and influencers, it is easy to dismiss the intended message. The amount of information that is force-fed to us daily is not only exhausting but also leads to the oversaturation of our minds and begins to control our dreams in a way that is not easily identified. The ability to recognize and differentiate the meaning in the daily consumption of literature, social media posts, and words from mentors is a skillful task.
For some, it can take years, if at all, to identify their intended calling in life. The even rarer, special cases are the ones who can apply it to the opportunities they were provided with. Listening to yourself is easy, but believing in yourself is where most of us fall short. This is why it’s important to surround ourselves with people who see and promote our highest potential.
Change is inevitable, but it does not have to be unplanned. If we strive to live our lives for the betterment of our families, community, and self, then the scariness of the unknown doesn’t seem as bad. Pay attention to your mind, listen to your gut, and plan for your future. You’ll be surprised at who your cheerleaders are and how they come to the forefront to support and promote you!
To everyone in the MotoReveler family, and most importantly, my subscribers and supporters, thank you. Your words of encouragement, support for the store, and word of mouth about what I have been working to build have not gone unnoticed. Motorcycles, philosophy, and thoughts of existentialism are not for everyone, but I strive to create content that transcends my passions and hope that my honesty and art connect with the masses in different ways at different times.
So, here is another heartfelt thank you heading into a new year. Stay tuned for more photos, writing, merch, and some collaborations in 2024!
